​From 31 July 2023, Bagga's  Pharmacists can provide treatment for uncomplicated urinary tract infections (UTIs) in women aged from 18 to 65 years (inclusive) as part of the NSW Pharmacy Trial.

You may be eligible for UTI treatment  if you are:

• female
• aged between 18 to 65 years (inclusive)
• displaying symptoms consistent with an uncomplicated UTI, which may include:
  • burning or stinging (hurting) when you urinate, or a
  • frequent or urgent need to urinate.

About the pharmacy consultation

At your consultation with the pharmacist, you will be asked some screening questions. This is to ensure you receive the right treatment and care at an appropriate time. You will not require to pay for your consultation with any of our Pharmacists however if treatment with antibiotics is deemed appropriate, there will be a small cost involved.

You may be referred to your doctor (GP) or the Emergency Department if you require additional care or urgent treatment.
